Toronto Review
I went to the Toronto concert on Saturday and it's too bad Barry didn't do Hot Tonight, because it would have been a perfect fit, between the weather outside and the atmosphere inside. The Air Canada
Centre was packed, and the audience was one of the best, and loudest I've ever seen in Toronto. At most of the other shows he's done there, the crowd was pretty dead, but not this group. I have some friends who also went to
Montreal on Thursday and they said it was the same story there.
I hadn't seen the show since last summer in Vegas. There weren't any big surprises, but I was glad to see that he did a lot more of his songs and hardly any covers, except for the short 60's segment. Even
Now was really awesome, maybe the best performance I've ever seen. Even Ron and some of the band were applauding-I've never noticed them doing that before.I also loved Brooklyn Blues, especially when Brian Culbertson
came out to do a solo. He was really amazing in his opening segment too. He had the whole audience on their feet during the Earth Wind and Fire medley. And maybe it's just me,but he looks a little like a younger Barry.
Before the show,I had a chance to have dinner with all my Toronto area Barry friends-16 of us,including one person I hadn't seen in almost 20 years. It made the whole night even more special, and brought
back a lot of great memories. At the show, for the encore,he did Old Friends and Forever and a Day-a perfect ending to a great night.

Montreal review.
It has been a very long time since Barry offered the pleasure of a visit to his Montreal's fans.
The show was really great, his voice hasn't changed at all. He looks as good and as young as ever.
I know it is his birthday on June 17th, it's never to soon to offer the best wishes for person we care
about. "Happy birthday Barry, many happy returns" xoxo
To come back to the show, I loved the way he spoke with his audience, how he told about his early days
and his grandfather, the standing ovation at Carnegie Hall. At the very beginning of the show I tought
he'd be done in an hour because he was singing so fast ... but the rythm slowed down after a few songs, it
was all for the better. He has a lot of charisma and he knows how to relate to his fans. He was so cute,
when he said (while everone was clapping and screaming his name) "Are you sure you're not family?" really
he deserved all those warm applause, I kept clapping my hands were hurting, burning actually but I didn't want
to stop, he earned it, each and everyone of them. He worked (understatement) his butt off. Anyway, to my surprise
I was disaspointed that we (the fans) didn't ear much about him before the show. I found out through my sister which in
turn found out on the Internet that he was coming to Montreal. I was lucky to get to know in time that he was
touring. The following morning journalists were giving good reviews, but if they knew he was coming it would have been better if they had told us when the ticket were on sale. Anyway, it was a really good show I'd spend
a very pleasant
evening in his company, he is an outstanding artist and performer. I would go back in a flash just to see him again.
I was a fan many years ago and still am, as he still got what it takes and it is not due to "a miracle" ... One more thing, the best part of the show (to my liking) was when he sang "Somewhere down the road", what a
priviledge moment. He sang without any instrument, his voice only, it was really nice. Thank you Barry,
